2023 – 2024 Schedule Overview
The 2023-2024 NGBA season kicks off on November 27 and ends March 9 with our March Madness event. There are no games or practices during school vacations (12/23/23 – 1/1/24, 1/15/23, 2/17/24 – 2/24/24).
Game Times and Locations
Games are played on Saturdays throughout the day at school gyms in Newton.
- Grade 7/8/9: Grade 7-8-9 Schedule

- Grade 3: Grade 3 Schedule

Practice Times
Teams practice for one hour per week beginning the week of November 27. Practices are held at school gyms in Newton. Teams do not practice during school vacation weeks or holidays.
Exact practice schedule will be posted after registration closes.
Reminders: Jewelry, Food & Beverages, Uniforms, Playing Time
- No jewelry may be worn to games or practices. This includes string bracelets, hard barrettes or beads in hair, earrings, etc. Girls wearing earrings will not be allowed to play.
- Absolutely no food is allowed in the gyms.
- Uniforms should be worn to both games and practices. For games, the team listed first on the schedule is the home team and should wear the white side of the uniform. The other team should wear green. The uniforms should survive well if washed in cold water and line dried.
- For player safety, street shoes should not be worn in the gym on wet or snowy days.
- Coaches will ensure that all players receive equal playing time.
